Privacy notice
For the personal ClearSignal screening tool
Searches and information
ClearSignal does not require an account and does not save search names to a ClearSignal database. Recent searches are held in browser memory for the current session only.
When you search, your entered name and selected country are sent to the ClearSignal search function hosted by Cloudflare. That function sends the name, country filter, and adverse-news terms to GDELT. If GDELT is unavailable, it may request matching articles from Google News. These services may handle requests under their own terms and privacy practices.
If you choose the direct Google News fallback link, your search phrase goes to Google News directly.
Hosting and browser data
Cloudflare and the GitHub repository host may process ordinary website access and security data. ClearSignal does not use advertising, analytics, or payment tools.
Use responsibly
Do not search confidential information unless you are authorized to share it with the services listed above. A name match is not identity verification or proof of wrongdoing. Review original reporting before making decisions.
